Michael Jackson: The Missing Doctor

I doubt I'm the only one to have growing suspicions about Michael Jackson's now missing doctor.  I figure it's one of three things:

1. Could his doctor have been negligently providing MJ all the meds he wants?  MJ was not a very strong person and nor had a strong personal discipline.  Sure he could work himself up for singing and dancing but in terms of person discomfort, MJ was not in the same class as the majority of the population who could tolerate some amount of pain and discomfort.  Therefore medicate me!!  Now his doctor is hiding for fear of being implicated and being the most hated man on earth!

2.  MJ has been abusing and mixing prescriptions drugs al la Anna Nicole Smith, Heath Ledger, etc.

3. Was MJ's death a suicide - which may never be acknowledged?  I gleaned from some of the news reports that even though he was "practicing" for his 50+ concerts in Europe, he had hired no band, no support dancers, etc.  Apparently had NOT done a lot of the preparations necessary for such a huge undertaking.  Could it have gotten to the point he didn't want the embarrassment of not be able to live up to his image?  (Think Marilyn Monroe.)

I'm just thinking out loud and don't have any real insight.  What else is there to do?  There's nothing else on the news right now!

Got any thoughts??

Detroit Killer Confession Coerced? Not so fast!

Detroit killer Vincent Smothers was confessing to multiple murders in just 4 hours of interview & interrogation.  He has admitted to at least 8 hired hits - one for as little as $50 and the most recent of a Detroit cop's wife.  His attorney now says the interview was too long and arduous and all the confessions should be dismissed.

Really ....!  So if your client confesses it must automatically mean he had to be coerced.

We have got to stop this nonsense!  I don't know all the details of Smothers case nor the interrogation tactics or details.  I'm tired of hearing the first word out a defense attorney's mouth is that all confessions are coerced.

We need to start recording ALL interrogations, stop the abuse of the criminal justice system, and ALWAYS blame the cop first if the bad guy confesses, gets convicted or if Grandma gets tazed because she failed to follow a lawful order and resisted arrest.  Juries and ESPECIALLY the public needs to see what really goes on during an interrogation.

Read more about Vincent Smothers case here.

I'd like to hear more about what you think!

Roland Burris: On FBI wiretap offered to write a check to Blago

CBS Chicago is reporting that the FBI wiretap of Blago caught Roland Burris offering to write Blago a check before he was appointed to the US Senate.

CBS Chicago Story on Roland Burris

I hate to say "I told you so," but "I told you so!"  Check my previous blog entry on February 18th, 2009. My question is when will Congress and other federal bodies indict Burris for perjury .. oh excuse me..."amending his statement."

Time to look at Nancy Pelosi, too!

Drew Peterson: "I guess I should have returned those library books."

During his arrest on May 7, Drew Peterson let his Ego Dominant personality show itself.  According to My Fox Chicago, Peterson was "stunned" by his arrest. Obviously he thinks he's untouchable and still believes that he can't possibly be convicted much less even tried for the death of Savio.   The only thing he could think of to say as he was being handcuffed was ""I guess I should have returned those library books."

We're going to get more of these types of dismissive remarks from Peterson.

Check out MY FOX Chicago exclusive video of Drew Peterson's arrest.

Drew Peterson Arrested: His Own "Words" and His "Ways" Will Nail Him

Within the last 2 hours, Drew Peterson was indicted for murder his third wife, Kathleen Savio and has been arrested by the Illinois State Police.  The Illinois State Police are currently executing search warrants on his house and have reportedly recovered what has been called "tons of evidence."

I've blogged before that Drew Peterson's ego dominant personality will be his downfall.  He has run his mouth so much in the media that it'll be a major issue with this case.  In particular his public comments about the day he found her dead in the bathtub of their home and well as any official statements he made to authorities.

When we finally hear the facts in this case he will have told more than one conflicting account but also those accounts WILL NOT be supported by the evidence found at the scene nor the injuries to her body.

Follow this one closely.  This arrest and Drew's "WORDS" and "WAYS" may also open up some more leads to the disappearance of his fourth wife Stacy.

Drew Peterson: A Big Slip of the Tongue on Chicago FOXNews

Drew Peterson appeared on Chicago FOXNews in an interview and his mouth got him in trouble again.  He was asked what do you tell you kids about their mother.  He said he told them she was on vacation and "... not coming back."  When the reported caught it Drew told he didn't say that and that that's not what he meant.

I'm telling you .... this guy's mouth and ego has and will screw him to the wall.

Check out the video here :

According to Drew Peterson - his wife is not coming back

Melissa Huckaby: What Kind of Woman?

When we hear the results of Melissa Huckaby's interview regarding the horrible murder of Cantu, we're are probably going to learn this woman is very ill.  It wouldn't surprise if she committed this murder for some psychotic reason - destroying the devil, saving the child from the devil, called by God to do it, etc.

Casey Anthony, Susan Smith kill their children because their life is all about them and the kids are in their way.  For a woman to kill someone else's child is unusual.  The one thing I'd like to know about is the disposal of the body.  Was she trying to hide th evidence which would indicate guilt associated with the act.

I wonder if Melissa Huckaby had her daughter involved in some way.  Had her invite the child over, etc.  I'll bet her own daughter is connected somehow.

We'll wait and see what happens with this one.

Roland Burris vs A-Rod, Barry Bonds, Scooter Libby & Martha Stewart

What's the difference between Roland Burris, A-Rod, Barry Bonds, Scooter Libby and Martha Stewart?
Roland Burris is just "amending" his testimony.  For the other four it's called perjury.  Two spent time in prison and the other two may spend time in prison.

Now we learn that Burris was "helping" Blago by raising campaign funds.  This is unreal.  With all the hoopla about Blago and the pay-4-play scandal, it would have to immediately stir anyone else's memory about ANY dealings they may have had with Blago.

In my opinion, Roland should be tried for perjury.  No amount of "spin" can explain away his convenient memory issue.  If this man is not charged with perjury then Libby and Stewart's convictions are a miscarriage of justice.  If Congress, the Federal Grand Jury and Illinois Legislature pass on indicting Burris, then all charges against A-Rod and Bonds should be dropped also.

Lie To Me: A Show of Fact, Fiction or Both

Fox will premier it's new show "Lie to me" on January 21.  It will be interesting to see how closely "Lie to me" will follow the research and findings of Dr. Paul Ekman.  If the writers are true to Ekman's research there should be some interesting Facial Action Coding Systems cues presented as well as some of Ekman's other work on deception conducted over 30+ years.

For those who have asked, or are wondering, sorry.. I wasn't involved in the technical side.  There are a lot of great unknown experts in the field and I'm a small fry.  I would have loved the opportunity. I've have been invited to and have pitched tons of stuff to TLC, History Channel, Discovery Channel, Court TV, ABC, CBS, NBC for several years but nothing seems to work out.  I proposed shows on interrogation, detection of deception, live interrogation shows (similar to police chases, First 48, etc) as far back as 9 years ago.  Again... so goes Hollywood and New York.  I guess I was a little ahead of the times.

Since such "scientific information" can be dull, the writers of Lie To Me have got a big job ahead of them - write a decent, compelling and entertaining story around all this scientific information.

The show should be fun BUT just remember.. it IS television and writers take license with reality and truth.  I expect some "flaws" and I worry they may drift away from Ekman's work for the sake of maintaining viewer numbers.  One area about which I am concerned based on a couple of commercials is the eye contact and eye movement issue.  Ekman as well as other scientists debunked those myths long ago but once again ... so goes television and Hollywood.

I will be watching with a critical eye.

Caylee Anthony's Body: Casey Told Us Where to Find it!

Back in July, Casey Anthony told us where to find her daughter's body in her recorded jail telephone calls.  She said she felt Casey was okay and was nearby.  Check my blog for July 28th and note my observations.

I wrote  "She feels that Caylee is nearby or near her home.  Caylee may very well be found very close to home.  If she is it'll be someplace that Casey is very familiar with and / or has been there several times.

I'd really start working on these two comments by Casey.  I think they may be the keys to getting an admission or confession."

Caylee has been found about 1/4 mile from her house.  The area where she was found was a location that Casey is reported to use as a "hangout" with her friends when she was in high school and apparently is very familiar with the location.

I understand that the location where Caylee was found has been and is often under water making it difficult to discover her body before now.

Now Casey's words are REALLY going to haunt her.  Her lies about Zany, Zany's mother, Zany working at Universal studios, and all her "trips" to help find Caylee.  I'm curious as to how the "bounty hunter" is going to explain this but more importantly, what tactic will her attorney employ.

I'll bet we get the "scared mother" story, the "kidnapped baby story" and there will be a BIG attack on her interview / interrogation, the forensics, and attempts to get both excluded.  I'm also interested in how Grandmother is going to handle all this.

Keep watching!  I'll bet this will be more to this soap opera yet to come!
